It happens, I guess. Some posts on it were kinda nice, very detailed and creative, others not so much, but Oda being able to go a certain route isn't a guarantee he will and Zoro not accomplishing what he wanted simply means he'll have to improve and use these failures/shortcomings (being incapable of cutting down Kaido like he wanted) to drive him to do better.
I like Zoro (not just saying that to validate my opinion, whether I like him or not should have no bearing on criticism unless it leads to way too much bias) and he could've been given more this arc but there'll more opportunities in the future and I look forward to him creating a black blade and defeating Shiryu and Mihawk. I never believed in ZKK but Zoro did well this arc overall.
