Speculations The Figarland family are the original monarchs of Elbaf

#1
I believe that before the void century, Elbaf was a great nation where humans lived as well as giants but was predominantly controlled by humans and ruled over by the Figarlands and in the Great War they fought on the side of Imu and Lily against the ancient kingdom, but at some point the giants allied themselves with joy boy and the rest is hx

Yeah that's possible, something that may be interesting about Joyboy being called the first pirate, that implies there were no pirates before the war between the ancient kingdom and the 20 kingdoms right?

I had this theory in mind as well because I believe that Figarland means something related to spears, and elbaph is known for that, I also believe the Figarlands will use spear based techniques with their sword a bit like Big Mom.

I also think that spear style is based on original Nika actually.

The name "warland" implies the island has been plagued by conflict, and it's no coincidence the giants are called the mightiest warriors.

So no, I don't think the giants were ever subjugated. Elbaf was probably a key location during the void century war the giants managed to conquer after years of war

The CDs came from WG affiliated nations
Yes this is a stated fact, this is a theory so it’s not facts, stop being a smartass.

The other thing, according to my theory/headcanon, after the Figarlands after their ascension into world noblehood, Loki/Harald’s ancestors took over and isolated themselves kingdom by using some method of gigantification.

The reason why I think this is the case is because I believe that the only natural race in one piece are humans and that the rest were artificially made or genetically enhanced in certain ways by the many technologically advanced kingdoms of the past(not just Joy Boy’s kingdom 900 years ago)

I agree with your theory because I have the same one for the past 2 years or so.

Correct

If you split Garling’s name Gar means Spear , Ling means belonging to

Oda loves to rhyme his word so it’s one associated with Spear .Its a Norse name and it’s very possible they have some association with Elbaf with the thyme play of Norse mythology .

This arc may well be about Figarlands and Shanks after all .

I don't want to shit on your idea but this theory is lacking substantial evidence that would make it plausible. It goes against what has been shown to us in the story concerning Dressrosa, Wano, and Elbaph. Countries led by the 20 Kings installed new royal families that became part of the WG. Nations like Wano and Elbaph who allied with Joy Boy have always been free nations and have never been under the WG's control. Alabasta is the only outlier because they were part of the WG but they never ascended to Marie Geoise.

Maybe provide some examples or evidence that would better support your theory. But I saw the other post about Elbaph and Wano previously. Neither of those work for me with the lack of evidence you are providing as support.

Was Wano really free during void century ? They were allies to Ancient kingdom but we do have evidence one of the wano family joined the World govt that’s Ethanborn and they were not really mentioned during wano arc and I most likely speculate the history of wano was always murky it’s possible Kozuki clan took control of the country after Ethanborn clan left .

If EthanBaron is from Wano then why isn't there a Royal family like the Doldo family from Dressros residing in Wano right now? Why was Toki whose family was part of Joy Boy's crew trying to find Wano if it is an enemy nation? There are too many holes that can be poked in this theory. Which is why I stated it lacks evidence and substantial explanation. I am all for theory crafting but try to make sure the theory is sound, otherwise, you're just throwing shit at the wall and hoping it sticks.

I agree it’s just speculation at this point .

Nope

That's retarded. Giants are too prideful to let little humans be their rulers. Especially the actual warrior giants of old.
That’s because you didn’t read the whole theory, retarded. The theory extends even further, stating that i believe the only natural race in One Piece are the humans, the rest were genetically engineered including the giants either through devil fruit and/or technology shenanigans and that before the void century, the Eldians were regular sized humans

I don’t need evidence, it’s just gut. Pattern recognition from reading too many Shonen
