I mean, it is kind of the point isn’t it? Having that many chapters and not enough lore reveals that develop the overall story is kind of an issue, right? We’ve been getting drops for years.

Shortly after I started One Piece, I expected two things: One, I thought Luffy would become Pirate King by around episode 500-800. Two, I thought the series was almost over.

I was wrong. The series is still going and the pacing is just bad.
