Future Events The great cleansing

I have always wondered how the great cleansing would happen and it has to do with wiping out most of the population on earth and what is the best and most effective way to do it on a planet that is made of mostly water and what came to my mind is that it is through flooding and how can you flood a whole world, the answer is through the movement of the moon, so if imu can some how control the moon he can adjust the position of the moon in the process cause a great cleansing ( it has to be related to water).

As for the fishmen they can be wiped out manually and after few generations of surving humans they would forget about the past and knowledge would be controlled by the WG.

I have always wondered why oda introduced the moon as an important figure and this might be why.

I don't think moon is important at all.

I just wonder how can fishmen be such underrace.

Major part of One Piece World is made of water. They could and should easily control all seas/oceans/rivers everything. Even that overall they weren't as strong as human they have much more space to populate and live and they have advantage over humans near water. Like Arlong used to do at Cocoyasi controling the sea to sink Navy Ships.
