I think the CD know things that we and the rest of the world don’t. For example, I feel like they know about Imu and the truth of the void century.

Remember Doffy knew a lot of things about Mariejoa and was able to manipulate the WG thanks to his knowledge.

When VP started his speech about void century Saint Shalria doenst even know what he was talking about.
All CD except gorosei and holy knoghts are extremely dumb and stupid in general. How would Imu trust them?

Because Imu doesn’t need to. Imu doesn’t care, he revealed himself on a whim to Cobra knowing that cobra will die cause of it. The CDs do not care about the lower realm. They have no reason to tell anyone anything because why should they. Plus as we saw, any CD can be given the title of Gorosei. I doubt they get a huge orientation about it since none of the other Gorosei were even aware of the change.

Also, the guards of Pangaea Castle aren’t Celestial Dragons.
