What if 900 years ago Imu was both the prin of his kingdom and a pirate as well. His crew was the Nerona pirates and it was formed as Imu was inspired by Joy Boy thus becoming the second pirate in history.
His crew however was destroyed by the Ancient Kingdom, so he developed a grudge against them and went back to his kingdom and assumed the throne and then gathered the 19 other kingdoms to form the world government.
In the final war, I believe the marines will rebel, the Gorosei and God Knights will be destroyed, now the only choice for Imu is to get the One piece to rebuild the world government so he reforms the Nerona pirates and recruits Mihawk and Sora the sea warrior as his right and left hands and some other characters to be the final opponents of the straw hats
