Which do you like better? For my personal opinion I liked the pre timeskip arcs better. The execution of the plot was on point and the pacing was decent. Post timeskip arcs are partially good when it comes to plot but bad when it comes to execution of the plot. Wano is a good example. What are your thoughts?

I struggle to think of a too many moments post timeskip that reaches the heights of:

-"I wanna live"
-"Nothing happened"
-Ace/Whitebeard death
-Strawhats farewell to Vivi
-Going Merry funeral
-"Help Me"
-"A man's dream will never die!"
-Dr. Hiruluk's speech
-Most of the Strawhats flashbacks

and many more

All I can think is
-"Raizou is safe"
-Law flashback
-Fisher Tiger/Otohime flashback
-Maybe a moment in WCI
-Maybe the SMILE reveal moment in Wano

but those moments still don't quite reach the pre time skip events

Pre TS by far
The problem with post ts isThe number of characters that the author has iintroduce also he rather focus on other characters that are not the protagonists

Pre TS

Characters interactions were better and the sense of adventure was on a different level

There are a few arcs that I like more than most arcs Pre TS (Dressrosa, WCI, Zou, Reverie) but as a whole I think Pre TS is better

Pre-TS didn’t have any larger narrative to it. So, it was an adventure where next step was always uncertain. We didn’t know what path had to be followed to get to Laugh Tale. They just travelled around and found very small clues by happenstance. The villains weren’t set in stone, so villains were refreshing too.

Post-TS has a definitive narrative that requires story to move from point A to point B. Which crushed the adventure part. It just about warring against the four Yonkous. So, villains are set in stone and that makes it a bit stale too.

Hence Pre-TS feels like an adventure story while post-TS feels like a battle manga. At least to me.

Pre-skip was cooler, because it was about some rookies sailing around beating bad dudes, making new friends, learning about the world and building a name.Post-Skip has too much politics, side characters and war involved.I hope these last few arcs are more straw hat centric and we get those Indian Jones vibes from skypia and other arcs.

Put Gear 4 reveal on that list because that shit was dope.Gear 5 was cool too.Luffy vs Katakuri felt like the Rob Lucci fight of the New World.
