As we have seen in this chapter Who’s Who with a horn even before he joined the Beast Pirates.

Does this mean that Who’s Who, Sasaki, Black Maria, Ulti and Page One were all Onis similar to Kaido and Yamato?

My theory was that the Onis didn’t exist and these characters are just wearing these horns as a stylistic choice but now I have to alter this theory a little and just say that some humans have horns but that doesn’t mean they are a race of their own; they’re still human but just born with horns

I doubt they're onis as well... Do note that Jack and Pizarro have horns as well...

Didn't the guards of Impel Downs have horns?

To me only Yamato and Kaido are Onis, the other characters with real horns are just horned humans, we have a bunch of crazy looking people that are still human in the OP world.


Oda confirmed in one SBS most of the Beast Pirates use the horns to fit the crew theme.

I think even Kaido and Yamato are horned humans as well; Luffy did refer to both Big Mol and Kaido as being just normal humans like the rest of them.

I don’t think an Oni race exists at all, just horned humans and this includes Kaido and Yamato
