Every time Sanji has used the Raid Suit in the story its been for some sort of situational purpose.
First things first I am not saying Sanji is not going to use the raid suit to fight, Im just saying it has not happened yet....

Oda's utilization of the Raid Suit has been very circumstantial.

Lets go back to the first usage of the raid suit.

1. 1st Usage: "As Long as they dont find out who I am Right?"

Theres context behind the usage....

Its stated they can only fight if they: cover their faces, are certain they can win, and do not take damage from the battle.

This on top of the fact that Sanji felt responsible for what happened to the soba shop owners since he defeated kyoshiros men and is the reason the tobi roppo are destroying the capital.

The disguise factor is mentioned multiple times in this fight, as well as Sanji speech stating he'll use the Raid Suit to save the lives of others.

2. 2nd Usage: Womens Bath

The 2nd usage of the Raid Suit was for the purpose of going into the women's bath, I dont think this one needs much explaining lol.

This next one further proves my point.

3. Sanji vs X Drake
X Drake and Sanji fought in the capital for an extended period of time, And Sanji at no point uses the raid suit against drake despite using it against page one. Why did Oda not have Sanji use the Raid Suit on X Drake after having Sanji fight Page One in the Raid Suit? Because the purpose of the Raid Suit in the Page One fight was only to disguise himself.... Again Oda is utilizing the raid suit very circumstantially.

4. 3rd usage: Saving Momonuske

We see Sanji using the Raid Suit again in Onigashima, but again its not for the purpose of defeating anybody , its just to save momonuske.

5. Queen

Sanji pulls up on Queen with a Diable Jambe Attack that does more damage than anything he did to page one in the raid suit. And Saves Chopper in the process, Again notice how against Page One the Raid Suit was used, but against X Drake its not, However its used again against King (when someone needs to be saved) and now against Queen (who he's having an actual fight against) its no where to be seen................ this further proves my point that Oda has not been using the Raid Suit for fighting at all..... Oda's been using it circumstantially. To move the plot forward, Its almost a plot device in a way.

So yea..... We still havent had a moment of Sanji actually using the raid suit for the purpose of winning of a fight. Sanji hasn't had that moment of " Hey If I use this I'll be able to defeat him". Oda's been using this as a convenient tool rather than a strength flex.

We know Sanji will swallow his pride and use the raid suit to save people but we dont know if its something he's gonna use for more strength. We still dont have that confirmation from Oda.

I will say this once again...... We know Sanji will use the Raid Suit to save others as stated in 931, but the question is Will he use it for himself ? Will he use it for the purpose of defeating someone and will that be a potential character moment? Cause up until now its more or less been portrayed as circumstantial tool. I could be wrong and if im wrong I'll take my L. But based on how Oda's using the Suit it seems to be the case.

Nothing about the raid suit relates to doing damage to a zoan..... Diable Jambe does.....but you cant really say the same for the suit. Especially given who Sanji matchup is currently, The Only thing that needs to be overcome is the durability of Queen. And we know what Sanji uses to deal with Tough Defenses.

I guess we'll have to wait and see how the Queen fight plays out......
And then we'll know whether the raid suit is the circumstantial tool its been portrayed to be or an Actual Powerup that has functions to bypass tough defenses .

The RS is a HUGE boost to durability and speed. And speed converts to power.

This is obviously a power up long term, not just a situational tool. For now Sanji is using it as that because he still hasn’t fully completed his character arc of making the Vinsmoke name his own. Look at what he said to Momo. He’s going to have to accept his own name and the suit is part of that. His shitty brothers and father can’t take away what’s his by birth. If you’ve seen MHA it’s a similar situation to Todoroki and his fire powers. Sanji has to stop thinking of the RS as his family’s technology and realize it’s HIS.

Queen’s connection to Judge is going to lead to Sanji owning his heritage.

And as far as offense, we haven’t seen what the RS can do offensively until we see it paired with DJ.

Even though sanji use the raid suit when the situation calls for it , & that is to protect someone, the raid suit still is a power up insane durability/ crazy speed & speed is weight (kizaru words) so depending on the speed his AP would increase.
But him not wanting to use it unless it's to help someone is understandable on sanji's part & I feel this will open doors on sanji wanting/needing to except who he is & possibly changing germa into hero's or something, but yeah he hasn't fully utilize the suit only time well truly tell how things gonna turn out & I don't mind wait :myman:
