Don't let the mean leftist that wants to reduce world population to 500 million so they can have a better control over everyone to trick you to believe AI or any technology is bad and harms the society. AI will mostly improve our lifes like every technology did in the past, improve productivity, lower the prices and free human beings to work less and have more time for other stuff.

AI could be good, but it will not be.
I agree that AI needs to be restricted so it does not go rogue. Its just the amount of restriction that is debatable.

When I say AI I do not mean LLMs which are barely anything other than elaborate statistics machines. I mean real AI.

Got nothing to do with "evil leftists anti-technology doomerism", even Goldman Sachs is not convinced that the investment in Generative AI will ever pay off and actually be able to transform society and economy to the next level, worrying that it may be a bubble waiting to burst.

Overregulation is the issue.

AI will be great. But not under people who are clueless about it.
