Why Kaido was always upset? Did Kaido promised or gave his word to King to become the strongest? What if The reason why Kaido wants to die is because of Oden?

Their fight was unfair when u think about it! And Kaido was definitely a warrior he also have the kings haki and he seems to enjoy a good fight and he had his whole crew vs Oden and his suborinates but someone had to interfere turn to Momonuske just to knock Oden out…

Kaido probably so upset to this fight that even on this day, after 20 years have pass he still remember this. And probably another thing will happen!? But CP-0 this time! The question is will Kaido just let it happen?

Is this the reason why Kaido wants to die? Is this will be the reason why Kaido might surrender and become luffy’s ally? What do you guys think?

Kaido probably wants to die because he's superstitious, believing in the afterlife to meet Joy Boy, and that he believes that it's still too early for Joy Boy's prophecy...

Of course that's a joke... But Kaido really is superstitious since he believes in guardian deities...

I think that Kaido thought he was this generation's Joyboy but later on in his life he found out that it isn't him. Check King's flashback of Kaido. "I am the only one who can" as in changing the world "King do you still believe that i am JoyBoy?" something happened in between for Kaido to say such things "So you too couldn't become JoyBoy" talking to Luffy.
