These people would have totally believed the same story if Alabasta was offscreened and we’re only told that Smoker defeated Crocodile and not Luffy.

I’m 100% sure Sengoku told the marines that Smoker defeated Crocodile and that Luffy was only involved in the conflict the fans would 100% buy into it and it will become an undisputed fact.

How can you with all the confidence in the world claim that Roger and Garp teamed up against Rocks? When we haven’t seen the actual fight just based on Sengoku’s words? Sengoku wasn’t even at God Valley so he wouldn’t know and even if he did, he won’t deviate a lot from the WGs narrative.

I’m convinced that Roger and Rocks was a 1 vs 1 and that Garp didn’t even manage to see Roger that day let alone fight alongside him, but this is just my headcanon, the words of Sengoku(not the author nor Oda) is that it was a 2 vs 1 until proven otherwise by the flashback but I feel this Rocks hype is gonna end with Roger getting hype even more.

I think the rocks fight was similar to the Doflamingo fight

Law did some damage and got some good hits in but Luffy did majority of the heavy lifting while Law took care of Treble

I think something similar happened here on God Valley

Roger got some good licks in on Rocks but Garp did a lot of the heavy lifting and finished the job

And just like Law took down Doffys right hand treble

I think Roger took down WB who may have been the closest thing to Rocks right hand and that's what sparked the rivalry between the two of them

Sengoku literally said Roger and Garp cooperated to beat Rocks Pirates but dumb powerscalers still have this weird obsession that Roger and Garp worked together to beat Xebec. They don't care what Oda say at this point.

Even when Oda portrayed Xebec as Loki victim equal they're still obsessed with this headcannon Roger needed Garp to beat Xebec. Lmfao
