Once again the chapter proves that WB becoming WSM was mainly due to his accomplishments as pirates, him being Equal to Roger was the second reason.
He was becoming more famous and successful than Roger Shiki..., the
Newspapaers were talking more about him than Roger during those times : All of these happened between 30 and 25 years ago.
Roger and WB started their fated battles over Oden and other stuff 30 years ago till 25 years ago.
This is why the novel stated he became WSM due to his great piracy life, and databook says he got this WSM title before Roger death.
Roger only surpassed WB in fame and Wealth after going to Laugh Tale and conquering the whole grabdlind, this is how His name became more famous than WB again. Before 24 years ago,
It was WB with Oden on Moby Dick ship who was the famous and most successful pirate.
Roger with Oden = PK status for going to Laugh Tale.
WB with Oden = WSM status for his many accomplishments
Both Roger and WB were equal in power/Status individually.
Their Strongest underlings too : Rayleigh >~ Oden.
When Oden left, WB crew lost a lot.
Oden is the lucky charm Both WB and Roger were missing.
So far Ace Novel hasn't been false yet... now Oda will confirm again why Kaido is the WSC even when WB is alive due to his physical strength and stats as the novel states.
The reason why Kaido and BM are not superior to WB and Roger in fame and wealth isn't really strength but more about their accomplishments as pirates... this is why them making alliance (if it lasts) was said to surpass any crew ever and roger/wb in bounties.
Now we are starting to see why WB was WSM during Golden Era , and how Roger surpassed WB and Shiki only by going to LT island.
Next we will start to see why Kaido became WSC....
