One trend among the yonko. Almost every yonko seems to be someone the WG tried and failed to control.
BM was to be sold to Cipher Pol/Marines, but Caramel was killed and the WG could never get their hands on her.
Kaido was sold to the marines as a kid by the king of his country, yet he escaped.
Shanks was a CD, but Roger took him and raised him as a pirate.

It’s therefore very likely there will be a WG tie in to Teach’s backstory as well. Where they tried and failed to control him. It could just be that he, like Buggy, is an ex-shichibukai, but imo it is more.
Teach has a unique body. He never sleeps, is extremely strong, can withstand immense pain, and can eat multiple DFs. Saturn suggested he has a special lineage.
As we know, Saturn was an immortal mad scientist who did various unethical experiments. Could it be that Saturn created Teach or his race in the past, but was unable to control his creations? I think that’s very possible.
I also think it’s possible that the creation of Teach’s race precedes Saturn. Perhaps this was done by one of Imu’s original Gorosei, creating a warrior capable of defeating Joyboy, only for this warrior to go AWOL.
