This is why Luffy is the strongest captain.

Newgate didn't want Oden to join his crew, because he was worried about too many strong personalities butting heads. WHITEBEARD was afraid of having too many Conqueror's around.

Even Kaido, when Luffy showed off his CoC to him, just straight up states: "We don't need that many Conquerors."

Luffy's greatest strength is that he has no problem recruiting people as strong/stronger than him to the crew.

Luffy is not threatened by the strength of others, when even Captain's like Kaido and Newgate avoided this.

Zoro and Sanji have been low-key training with each other by fighting each other the whole damn series.

Even if King/Katakuri disagreed with their Captain, they're still going along with their shit.

If Gyaban/Sanji think Roger/Luffy are being stupid, they're letting them know straight to their face.

That's why I think the arguments about Loki being too strong are weird: A, Domi Reversi exists, if Imu can do that shit, there's no such thing as "the Crew's too strong", Satan can literally spawn in and take over an entire fucking army, and - B, Luffy has never had issues recruiting strong fighters to the crew.

FMI Luffy can't beat FMI Jinbe, IMO, and Luffy still recruited him.
