So i have a theory as to how BM & Kaido both of them MIGHT have survived. Hear me out.
1) Firstly they were in the lava chamber & I cant think of anyone who could go there & save them which is why the volcanic explosion happened immediately afterwards. Potentially that explosion threw them off back onto mainland Wano. After that lets go to chapter 1052.
2)In Chapter 1052, when Gorosei ask CP-0 who had now returned to his WG ship as to atleast if they can have Robin...at that point the communication between Gorosei & Cp-0 on Wg ship starts to be hijacked. See this page:-

Gorosei : "CP-0 come in" interrupted by Bzzzt Bzzzt.
WG guy on WG ship : "Someone is hijacking our signal"
Mystery figure : "Listen up. Stay where you are i am on my way"
WG guy on WG ship :" who is this ?"
This Mystery figure was Smoothie & BMP (as we will see later in chapter 1053) & with her saying "Listen up . Stay where you are i am on my way". That sure sounds like she is on her way to rescue atleast BM.
3)But how do we know for sure that it was BMP ? See chapter 1053 this panel :-

Morgans : "Cipher Pol's transmission from Wano broke off right after they spotted Big Mom's ship."
So there you have it. Smoothie finally being useful & quite possibly Oda setting things up in a way to explain how BM & Kaido got rescued.
Oda has said this in his sbs/interview once that he generally doesnt like to kill his characters so that he could bring them back whenever he feels like it later.
And also with BM saying at the end to Kidd & Law that dont they think that this is the last of her...I am sure BM might be on elbaf as well.
BM's df powers allow for a unique possibility of sacrificing her remaining lifespan to temporarily powerup to someone beyond yonko lvl strength & 1v1 Luffy if you think her appearing would be boring from power lvl POV, oda can fix things via this route as well.
