General & Others This is true Peak Fiction. Where is the emotion in One Piece these days?

Some people. Some very sad people. Are calling Wano the best arc in One Piece. Those people deserve to have their title of One Piece fan, revoked. Romance Dawn, Arlong Park, Alabasta, Jaya, Skypeia, Water 7, Enies Lobby, Sabaody, Impel Down, and Marineford. These arcs have plots that put Wano to complete shame. Yet people are praising the rushed, mass unfinished plotlines, offscreening, half fights, and plot derailing mess called Wano.

Water 7 and Enies Lobby were pure perfection. The perfect balance between silliness and seriousness that a Shonen manga should have. Oda is beginning to lose this balance and the silliness is starting to outweigh the seriousness that made One Piece great in the 1st place. Yes One Piece has always been a silly manga but Luffy and the gang knowing when to get serious is what made One Piece great.

There were no serious moments in Wano other than a couple moments with the Scabbards. 0 Serious moments with the Strawhats. :yasu:

What? A +150 Chapters Arc is Rushed?
The pacing was so bad, it feels rushed in some parts.
I think the opposite, it was too stretched, the Arc could have been done in 100 Chapters
It is both. Oda is self-indulgent and meanders around with far too many unnecessary characters. For Wano, this translated into a slow beginning and a bloated middle. By the time he reached the endgame he realised that he had spent way too much time dawdling and needed to crank the speed up thus rushing what we actually wanted to see.

It is exactly because the arc is slow that it ends up being rushed in certain areas.

Who the fuck do you think you are to decide something like that?
Fucking 21389071298379281739812798321th "one piece trash" thread to try farming "likes" and sympathy.
People can think for themselves whether they like Wano or not and why they like or dislike it.
Thx.

What extremely interesting topic you're gonna tackle next for the 21830712890378721th time?
Maybe Luffy being jesus?
Sanji's gag?
Usopp useless?
Plz.
I can't wait to read the same thread that doesn't anything new to the debate once again.

Yeah, never has Oda used silliness in the crucial part of the story..
Just like when luffy bloated like a baloon full of water against Crocodile.
Or when used the Gom Gom Boh against Eneru.
Or when Usopp got chained with Zolo and became a sword.
Or when Usopp started singing immediately after his serious moment in Enies lobby and broke all his 4 bones.
Or when Luffy was saved of all the poison and started eating food like popeye.
Or when joke character like Buggy and mr Three are relevant and crucial during Marineford.
Or when you guys speedread and are uncapable of making good points.

Usopp isn't useless he's one of the best characters in One Piece like Hawkeye humanizes the Avengers, that's Usopp's role in the Strawhats and when Oda gives Usopp attention he feels like one of the best written characters in the series. Like in Water 7.

I don't care if I'm repeating a topic or One Piece fans don't want to hear it. I say what I want.

I never denied that I said there was no serious moments in Wano and Oda knew when to be silly.

Yeah he fought Crocodile in a silly way yet it made sense and then Luffy got serious and used his blood instead of water.. Zoro and Usopp had a silly moment then Zoro got serious and used Ashura.

There was a balance.

Usopp role is completely ruined at the moment in One Piece because he is non relevant.

And Luffy fought in a silly way yet it made sense with the retcon of his fruit, then Luffy got serious and used the fruit to gigantify..

See how your argument is just a reduction of what happens to satisfy your agenda?

I'm not trying to satisfy anything as I said there was a perfect balance of seriousness and silliness in pre-timeskip and the seriousness usually outweighed the silliness in the arc.

Fishman Island, Punk Hazard, and Wano are the worst arcs in One Piece.

Anyone who thinks Wano is good must of thought Shang Chi, Eternals, and Ms.Marvel were good just low standards these days.

These people will call the shitty One Piece live action peak when it comes out.

Wano is the arc that bridged the gap between Naruto and One Piece in the western world. Wano does feel disjointed with a bunch of plot thread that are all over....

Success is the future decider. More chapters like Wanokuni?
