A year later and here we are back with the Thriller Bark Zombie parallels to the Monster Trio, this time the focus being our always sleeping swordsman -- Zoro!
Note, while like my Sanji one, I will be going over the parallels. This one may get a bit into tin-foil hat territory.
How so, you ask? In this theory I will be making the case of Zoro to be a Sleeper Agent. If you don't know what that is; There are typically two forms of a Sleeper: IRL and Fictional. For Zoro, we will be going over the fictional type, and just so there's no confusion.

So the biggest thing after writing this theory I was missing was the "WHY," if Mars brainwashed Zoro, why him? I tried to pull from the Ryumia descendancy but it was a weak reasoning.
A member on Twitter helped me come up with that reason after, along with a few other things discussed with other Twitter users after I posted this a few days ago, I'll be adding them here:
First the why:
Shadow22, suggested that if Zoro was turned into a sleeper it might have been done to keep an eye on Koshirou who was assumed to be working with the RA at some point. THIS was a good point.
I furthered this in GC later:
Even without Kuina being alive. Though it could be that she was killed as punishment and the other story given to hide it, and again Zoro brainwashed to keep tabs on Shimotsuki.
The next thing, another panel I noted days later: Oda always likes to make gags with Sanji have a serious tone to them later.
What Sanji says about Zoro in regards to Bon Clay (another one like Pudding who tricked everyone) could be more than meets the eye when looking at Oda's typical patterns.
And last, another member brought out the Zoro Cursed Holy Sword Movie:
While movies aren't canon, they are sometimes used as prototypes for ideas he later implements by testing them out with Toei. There's been several examples of this.
In CHS, Zoro pretends to be possessed and betrays the Strawhats to help Saga. There's possession for others, and the Hell Fire Zoro now uses was in that movie as green flames called 'demonic fire,' that possessed people.
