During a visit to my local library I stumbled upon One Piece translated to my native language. I stopped reading in my local language around Arlong Park and ever since have been reading in English.
So while skimming through the pages I learned that Jinbeis literal name is "WhaleShark" and Sengokus name is "WarKingdom". Absolutely surreal.
I think it's due to Whitebeard is WB, not Shirohige but some japanese names I've not been able to translate in my head like Jinbei and Sengoku. Who else is there in the series has kept Japanese name in the scans and what would their names be in English?
