To anyone who actually went out to see Barbie, how is it?

I've heard it's unironically good, and now I'm curious :ihaha:
After a lot of consideration, I went out and watched it.
It's better than I expected (the bar was kinda low though), and I really wish that both sides had gotten more in the end.
Oppenheimer is quite a sad movie for me atm, but it's way better in terms of quality and I don't get the "Barbenheimer" crap tbh, having seen both.

Just watched it recently

Honestly kinda boring the animated movies from the early 2000s was way better

I really enjoyed it. Ryan Gosling as Ken was an amazing choice, he nailed it. The film had a pretty positive message for everyone though I felt it was a bit too direct in conveying the message at times. I'm Just Ken was just terrific.

It was quite different from what I expected but it was nice seeing Margot Robbie as Barbie faced with the problems of both her own world and the real one.

Overall, really funny film with amazing songs and a touching message. Still thought Oppenheimer was the better half of Barbenheimer but that's cause it was just something else, really extraordinary. Barbenheimer was well-worth it, I enjoyed the experience.

Just hacked the film. Watching it right now.

The methodology of filmmaking is somewhat applied.

The film exists.

I feel like there is too much dialogue crammed into that film.

Can't watch it in theaters alongside Oppenheimer anymore unfortunately.

An epic event comprising of two simultaneous, drastically contrasting experiences has sadly passed and it can only be experienced on DVD and Blu Ray now :(

Im going to guess Barbie is a movie for little girls and half of you probably went "wtf is this I should get high some more" during the first 20 minutes of it.

That must be it. Feels like the marketing team targeted everyone to grab as much money as possible but it really gives kid movie vibes. Those first 20minutes are horrendous to watch. Greta Gerwig keeps delivering garbage movies. Kids deserve better movies. I had already sworn to stop hacking her films since Lady Bird, but anyway I'm trying to watch it for the Barbenheimer meme only.
