Traumerei cooked Bellerir, Enkidu, and Holand so fucking hard in this chapter. This guy is going up on my antagonist list.

Also, the ratings went back to normal once we left Baam/Khun/Rak. Koreans really don't want to see them, huh? Not that I can blame them.

What does gustang says at the end?
He asks Traumerei if he's unsure about playing chess with him, since he's trying so hard to steal his King. Traumerei just answers that he's speaking a bunch of nonsense and that he's the one who's been avoiding him. Gustang answers that it took him a bit of time to organize his thoughts and that he's decided to kill him.

What a chapter wow!! Both Trau and Gustang looked cool. Enkidu and Po Bidau guy were idiots to think that they could fool Trau so easily. Trau being able to control members of his own family is insane.

Gustang came in at the right time and now we’re gonna have the best battle in ToG so far? Gustang is winning this I think.

Solid chapter, way better than the Baam fight. Traumerei was out here playing 4d chess with them lol. I guess now we know the results of those lab experiments that we saw in the flashback, Hollan is basically one of those experiments. In the blogposts I think it even said that Traumerei could control humans but idk if that is canon, but he basically has a fail safe for rebels if most of his underlings are modified hybrids like Hollan lol. We finally about to get Gustang vs Traumerei, idk if we will be getting a full on death battle without someone else interrupting. We still got Urek and Luslec somewhere, the “Boss” is probably going to be preoccupied with the battle outside. Tho Urek is the only one that has a reason to interrupt this, so we probably seeing him again soon.

I just realized something quite cool. Gustang and Traumerei's powers are probably meant to represent the opposite of what they are as people.

- Gustang: Seeker of truth, reality, and knowledge. Hates fabricated history and lies. His power should be turning anything he writes into reality, which is bound by his imagination. He uses his imagination, the furthest thing from reality and truth, to fight.

- Traumerei: He considers himself a force of nature. He never believes to be in the wrong. Either you adapt to him, or you get rekt. Has no consideration for other people's thoughts or feelings (other than his peers), and pretty much never adapts or changes. As a person he's stagnant, but his powers are probably about the opposite thing - evolution (the DNA structures in his throne + the way he regenerates, fuses, and modifies the size of his Shinheuh which implies he can control the fabric of life itself).

I think Gustang vs Traumerei is going to be a battle of Imagination vs Evolution. Both aspects representing the opposite of what they are.

Traumerei: What did you just say, Gustang? // You are.. going to kill me? You are?

Gustang: Yes.

Traumerei: You are insane. // We promised each other that no matter what happened, we would never harm one another after that day! Are you planning to break our promise, Gustang!?

Bellerir: Shit..!

Endorsi: Damn it..! This is a disaster! How did those two end up here..! I haven't even retrieved my chess piece yet..!

Bellerir: Hell..! This is a mess! But it's fine..! // As long as i have the "king" there's still a chance!

Endorsi: There he is..! He's the one that took my chess piece! // I have to take it back!

Bellerir: You fucking thief! How dare you lay your hands on someone's else belongings!

Endorsi: If i get caught, im dead..! What should i do!? // I need to look for a chance to snatch that chess piece from his pocket..!

Traumerei: Haland. // Lock up that insane guy.

Haland: Yes.

Traumerei: This is a living maze. I prepared something that you like, Gustang. Tens of thousands of ancient shinheuhs are interconnected, forming a maze that cannot be burned all at once. Morever, as much as it burns, it regenerates through the power of my Shinwonryu, making it literally a living infinite maze. // This should be able to hold you for a while. Serves you right. Now you can suffer too. Now then, Gustangs chess piece.. // Im not sure what he was doing this, but it seems like he hasn't escaped yet. I need to take it back, and finish this game.

Gustang: You're always the same. From the moment i saw you getting that high ranker to move with the other Branch Heads, I knew there must be a reason you trust him. So i had already taken measures. You seem to have forgotten that. But I know you very well, Traumerei. You never trust someone who has broken free from your control.

Haland: Aghhh! AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Traumerei: How did this happen.. // What is this!?

Tongue: Shut-in Loser.

Traumerei: Gustang you son of a bitch!

Gustang: After coming this far, you create a maze to trap me? Are you so relutcant to fight me, Traumerei? // Get a grip, my friend. We're done playing our little games. One of us, is dying here.
