Track & Field

With the 2021 Tokyo Olympics coming around the corner, I felt it was the right time to create this thread. Does anybody else keep up with track & field? I've always been a track fan but I've recently gotten into really watching the races this year. All these times, throws, and jumps getting put out have been amazing. I've especially enjoyed watching the NCAA championships and now the U.S. Olympic Trials. This year's Olympics are going to be a lot of fun!

Randomly tagged everyone since I'm not sure who is a track fan and who's not. If you're not already, then I strongly recommend checking it out. It's so much fun!

not necessarily checking out Track, but I'm probably gonna dedicate most of my time watching Men's and Women's Basketball, as well as the newly minted 3v3 Basketball for both genders, probably on the NBA Discussion Thread once the NBA Finals are wrapped up in 2-3 weeks

Yea I think imma check out basketball as well. Should be pretty interesting.
You can watch it all on YouTube! The NBC Sports channel has been posting videos of the U.S. Olympic Trials right now.
Thanks for the heads up.

I keep up with the Olympics each time they arrive but I can't lie that Olympic sports interest me outside of Olympics.

Football and Basketball are the sports that interest me the most + National Volleyball although I watch a lot of disciplines when the Olympics arrive.

Sha'Carri Richardson is a beast eh
Ongod, bro! She was zooming through her 100m trials. I can't wait to see her and Shelly-Ann Fraiser-Pryce race at the Olympics.
yeah
was a huge bolt fan and freaking hate gatlin's guts
havent kept up with the regular iaaf tournaments but will def be watching at the olympics.
Yeah the Olympics are fire, can't wait to watch it.
My dudes, have y'all been watching these trials? Grant Holloway just came off 100th of a second from tying the 110m hurdles world record...in the semi-finals. Ryan Couser broke the 31-year-old shot put world record in the trials too.

Yoooooo!!! Check this out!

17-year-old Erryon Knighton just threw down a 19.88 200m dash while EASING up during the last few meters. He broke Usain Bolt's Under 18 world record earlier this year and has now just broken Bolt's Under 20 world record with that time. Bolt's U20 time was 19.95 for reference. It's legit non-wind-aided time. This kid has an absolute serious chance to beat Bolt's 19.19 world record one day.

Yeah it's my favorite assortment of sports. I ran T&F back in the day, so I've been keeping up with the trails. I even attended the the 2012 Olympics, so I'm so definitely tuning in this year.
