- The entire episode is focused on adapting the FRIEND saga and nothing else
- The entire FRIEND saga is adapted in this episode (from chapter 630 page 10 - end of chapter 634), so there will be no FRIEND 2
- Including everything (OP and ED), the episode clocks in at about 26 minutes & 20 seconds and is the longest episode in the TYBW anime to date. Typical episodes are around 24.5-25 mins
- Bazz & Jugo's flashback has been extended with many new scenes. It's amazing how much they were able to add
- It is a very emotional episode and depicted even better than it was in the manga

- In the title card near the end, the 'END' part in 'FRIEND' is highlighted by colouring it red
- Final scene - Bazz's death (final page of chapter 634)
- End of episode poem by Haschwalth: "There is no pain as long as I keep my eyes on the balance scale." (same as volume 70)
- Next episode (39) title: THE VISIBLE ANSWER (same title as manga chapter 660)
