Unpopular opinion but Buu saga was better than the Cell Saga

Cell Saga was so popular, it is among the most liked saga in the Dragon Ball Saga and I just don't understand why.

Cell Saga had way too many retcons and the androids were so boring. I remember when I was kid asking myself, how can robots be stronger than Super Saiyan lol. In the Buu Saga, at least it was very funny and Majin Vegeta made that arc.

I always liked Buu saga more,because it has more transformations like the ssj3 or Mystic Gohan,the fusions with Gotenks and Vegeth etc. and also i like how the "group" of heroes is composed more in the Buu Saga. Teen Gohan,Goten and Trunks,Videl,etc. Another reason why i like Buu's saga more is its humor. While the Cell saga is very serious and has very few comedic scenes,Buu's saga instead is almost a return to Dragon Ball's origins on the humor side. By the way Cell's saga is very cool too. The good thing about DBZ's arcs is that every arc has a unique style. Saiyajin/Frieza's arc is "Space Opera" style,so you have aliens and other planets. Cell's arc is "Sci-fi" so its about androids and time travels,while Buu's arc is "fantasy" so you have demons and magical objects like the sword Gohan uses to train and the Potaras. This difference between the arcs is very cool.

How is Buu saga pure fanfic, when cell saga had human androids being stronger than Super Saiyan and there was time portals in Cell Saga. Cell Saga definitely had more fanfic than Buu Saga. Buu saga was more like Dragon Ball than Dragon Ball Z since it had a lot of comedy.

I can't remember since it was such a long time ago but first it was established the androids where the enemies, then it turned out to be the human androids 17 and 18 then it turned out to be Cell. The story just kept changing and changing. And then the whole time travel thingy kept changing too.

Definition of retcon, "a literary device in which the form or content of a previously established narrative is changed ". There were definitely a lot of retcons in Cell Saga. Androids kept getting retconned. Like I said, I can't remember the exact details since it was a long time ago but there were definitely a lot of retcons in the Cell Saga.

The androids weren’t retconned, the original duo was a smart plot twist done by toriyama because he realized he didn’t like the design

also Cell was introduced later as another threats, his introduction didn’t change anything retroactively
