Controversial Unpopular opinion: Demon Slayer is peak and kino when compared to the brainrot that is JJK

Tanjiro is just as bland as whatever the main character of JJK's name was whatever oh yeah Yuji

Demon Slayer, for what its worth, its simplicity, allows for the viewer to actually get to know the characters a bit better, and handles side characters a smidgen better than whatever JJK was trying to do. Akudummy introduced too many characters and didn't let the viewer connect with any that deeply before killing them off. Also, I find the lack of exposition of explaining their powers in Demon Slayer refreshing, and a better way to go about it. Sure its ranking system was undeveloped, and little to no complexity meant it was always going to be disrespected by anime casuals pretending to be connoisseurs of the genre, but all its villains, and especially the Hashira, are a stand out amongst anime side characters.

Of course, JJK having a longer run, more memes and hype behind it, it will be seen as the superior series, but I never felt invested as I was in Demon Slayer. Period.

PS

Demon Slayer is better animated, outside of certain fights obviously domain expansion bullshit animation is better but Demon Slayer is still the better series.

Oh

And Demon Slayer gave us TENGEN UZUI with his threee wives (goals)

If I had to choose between these 2 series it would easily go to JJK. Demon Slayer blew up due to 1 anime episode (#19). Outside of that JJK's characters are better, the world is better (meaning more fleshed out), the power system is better and more diverse, and the plot is better. I would much rather watch/read JJK than KNY (DS).
