I have a feeling that when Usopp finally accepts himself, conquer his fears and become the great warrior of the sea is when he defeats Greenbull.

I have a theory that at some point the straw hats will fight Akainu’s marine fleet and that Zoro and Sanji will fight Kizaru and Issho respectively while Jinbei faces off against Greenbull but then Jinbei realizes that Gb is a bad matchup cause water helps plants to grow.

Usopp will run into him while running away from a Zodiac VA and will realize that saving Jinbei comes first even if he has to sacrifice himself for Jinbei to escape and they exchange opponents.

Usopp conquers his inner fears and awaken AdCoC to defeat the Admiral but he doesn’t realize or completely comprehend it until the final war occurs and Usopp has his final fight in the war against an opponent even scarier than Kaido on the WGs side

and second Kizaru couldn't one shot Usopp.

Remember Usopp's timeskip was on an island with dangerous plants and beetles. Chances are Greenbull is already dead in that 1v1.

Nah I wish this guy was oda's assistance but there's no way he has something this epic planned for Usopp. Oda doesn't care about Usopp. Even when Usopp one shot the marine who was rusting Zoro away that was the anime team who added that. Even when usopp was suppouse to meet gsrp or fight Blueno Oda changed his mind and I feel like toei likes that Usopp doesn't get any spotlight.
