Versus Battle Vaati vs Majoras Mask

I'd say Vaati takes it. He was already a very powerful demon but with Zelda's power, he grew into one of the most powerful Zelda villains. Vaati was also the strongest antagonist in Four Swords Adventure bar freaking Ganon.
Sure, Majora is also crazy strong but we don't actually know how Majora scales to Ganondorf or other divine characters in Zelda verse. We don't even know how strong Majora is in comparison to other Zelda antagonists. Meanwhile, we know for a fact that the Four Swords - a sword comparable to the Master Sword - was required to seal Vaati. Yes. Sealing him. This sword couldn't fully kill Vaati either. And Vaati is also the only antagonist bar Ganon/Ganondorf who appeared in more than one Zelda game.
I think Vaati is probably the closest villain to Ganondorf in terms of power, especially since he already took the Magic Cap and became a powerful sorcerer. This cap has reality warping on a rather high level, considering it made Vaati strong enough to effortlessly break the Minish Sword, a seemingly powerful sword which sealed many dangerous monsters and demons.
Hell, in the final fight in Minish Cap, this mf casually created a realm with easily millions of stars and fought Link there.
If you want to play the story around Vaati, try to play it in this order:
1. Minish Cap
2. Four Swords
3. Four Swords Adventure
Four Swords might be difficult since it's purely multiplayer but Minish Cap is the origin of Vaati and it even takes place before OoT in the entire Zelda timeline. Hence Ganondorf didn't even exist back then when Vaati was about to destroy everything.
