Speculations Vegapunk's connection to the Blackbeard Pirates

I am probably not the first to think that Blackbeard was a failed experiment of Vegapunk. He knows the book of Devilfruits. Only other person who talked about it, Sanji, knows it because his father was in MADS. Plus he has a weird body, reminding one of a hippo. Is he a clone, or atleast genetically modified like Sanji? Lafitte was the only early BB Pirate that was around as old as BB (39 years old, now 41). MADS was disbanded 40 years ago. Lafitte has wings, that don't have to be a product of a DF, per SBS. They also don't look like those of skyislanders. Could those wings be a product of genetic manipulation? Are both Blackbeard and Lafitte (the earlierst member probably) experiments by Vegapunk?
