I reread Wano before chapter 1000 and man, the amount of twists, revelations and the sole emotional investment it got me into has never happened in a Arc, ever. It could be better without some off paneling but still...
This Arc is unmatched and we haven't even reached the climax yet.

I've been waiting 5 years for this arc to come. I had expectations for X Drake and the story didn't live up to my expectations. If your going treat a character like fodder then tell someone before they wait 5 damn years to see the character appear.

Definitely loving the arc. It is the best Post-timeskip arc imo and may surpass enies lobby for me.

Sanji beat Drake easily. He knocked him out. Then we have the event took place in the bath house. Sanji clowned Drake and Hawkins with no problem at all. He then gets the crap beat out of him by Queen. He barely even appears in the Wano arc. The anime is canon, and even if it isn't, Oda let Toei ruin his character two times. He basically didn't give a damn about the fans who had to watch him get low diff by Sanji. I can already see it now. He is going to be the Tien of one piece.

The anime is not necessarily not Canon, but also not confirmed as Canon.

Oda never dispatched the talks of it being labeled as Canon, but he also never confirmed the talks to correspond to reality.

One could rather say anime is not Canon until Oda confirms so, it's not totally accurate as an argument however.
