If im not mistaken the time when ace destroyed onigashima was the time when thatch was still alive and didnt get killed yet by blackbeard.

after ace left wano thats probably the time when he found out that his own crew killed thatch and ace decided to track blackbeard down to capture him..

then ace was defeated by blackbeard and captured by the navy

now my question is! Does kaido would just sit down and pretend like nothing happen when ace destoyed his main territory? What if Kaido went to Marineford not because of Whitebeard but to kill Ace himself because to what he did to onigashima.

a similar thing that kaido do when someone messing up To him, he goes to try to beat them like what happen to kidd, luffy, and the others.. that the marines mistakenly think that kaido went there to beat whitebeard himself but the real thing was ace destroyed the whole onigasjima by himself enough reason to anger kaido.

what do you guys think? Would this make sense more?

I think he only went there to get some good fighting.Too bad Shanks stopped him.He might have died there.
Sengoku,Garp,Akainu,Kizaru,Aokiji together would make short work of him.Mihawk could have taken care of King or a couple of vice admirals could do it too.If Kaido was present at Marineford,the fighting would go on and he probably would die.

well idk about mihawk or the 7 warlords some of them are there because they agreed to fight whitebeard even boa hancock was seen beating whitebeard pirates but fighting another yonkou with their full force might not be a good idea

If you Consider Roger ~ Garp ~ WB as manga suggests, then that leaves 3 Admirals+Sengoku,
If you consider an admiral at least as strong as law and kid, then 2 Admirals can beat Kaido, which leaves Sengoku+Akainu
Ryokugyu fodderized Top commanders, So did Akainu... which leaves Sengoku and thousands of VA+Shichi+RA

Probably Kaido knew that there's a reason why Whitebeard goes so far for Roger's boy and it might be because he's Joyboy
So he rushed in only with King, because King is probably the other only one in the crew who knew about Joyboy
