Anyone noticed, throughout the onigashima raid, the allies nearby zoro tend to have better fight performance, compared to when zoro wasn't around.
My theory is that zoro's energy is so overwhelming that it affects people near him. The radiation here works like a Wi-Fi. The closer you are to the source of energy, the energy you receive will be stronger. Just look at these evidences.
When luffy had his first fight vs kaido in act 1, zoro wasn't there. This was what happened to luffy
Then, when luffy fought again but with zoro this time near him, the tide changed
After zoro showing coc at rooftop, luffy now could use advcoc attack
When zoro was teleported away from the rooftop, this was what happened to luffy
Then, zoro was brought to the performance hall (center of the onigashima castle).
Just like luffy's case, suddenly the tide changed for the strawhats who were fighting inside the castle
The same thing happened to sanji. This was sanji when he was in direct contact with zoro.
When sanji was not directly in contact with zoro anymore, Queen now can block sanji's attack.
When king pushed zoro away to outside of the castle (now zoro was farther away from sanji), sanji was jobbing to queen
Then, sanji called zoro
IMO, the transponder snail here worked like LAN cable. Even though the wifi cannot reach sanji, but the transponder snail transmitted zoro's energy to sanji.
After this call, sanji could unlock stronger attack (ifrit jambe)
