Yaga's death was handled poorly in my opinion, a character like Yaga who has all the pieces to be one of the greatest characters in jujutsu kaisen.
I mean what's the point of introducing him only for him to be killed off by getting of-screened and we didn't get to see his cursed technique.
Really the biggest problems are because of the pacing, it's not slow, it's too fast, it's straight up rushing through everything. People got it into their head that fast pacing = good but that's FAR from the truth, non stop action and development is suffocating, the climaxes and pay offs don't work at all if you get the pay off within that very same chapter of the build up. It's why Yaga and Mai's deaths don't work for me, they were just background characters with no real arc or development of their own, they existed solely for other characters to rage, it's why the Zen'in rampage didn't work.
