I think it’s so unbelievably ass how pre skip Luffy supposedly defeated one of Roger’s rivals. Shiki should have been amongst the strongest Rocks pirates and the fact that he’s a canon character but is treated like this in Strong World really kinda ruins him imo.

Oda should bring him back in the next film. Maybe have Imu use his powers to heal Shiki’s legs and get the wheel out of his head. Create some explanation about how over time, the wheel was causing damage to Shiki’s brain that made him forget how to use haki or something. Which is how Luffy could beat him.

Yonko Luffy vs Shiki would be an actually good fight to watch.

Every old legend was still a monster. Oda ought to give Shiki that treatment.

If there’s going to be another movie, and I’m sure there will be, Shiki coming back again would be a good choice for a villain. He’s kinda like the one piece version of Broly, a movie character who was brought into the story’s canon.

Movies always don't make sense powerlevel wise (and Oda is always not involved in those parts: he didn't even approve Shiki's bloody fruit and was against it lol).

Luffy defeating Shiki pre TS doesn't make any sense;
Pre-DR Luffy (meaning G2-G3) defating an ex Admiral known for his haki doesn't make any sense;
Bullet being "on par" with Rayleigh without even AdvCoA and much less AdvCoC of any king and losing an exchange against post Katakuri Luffy doesn't make any sense.

And so on.

There are so many canon stories they can show us with a movie, but they are just to afraid to make a movie without the Strawhats in it.
