General & Others Weevil and Doflamingo shouldn’t join cross guild

I know lots of people want/expect Doflamingo and weevil to join cross guild including myself at a point but I don’t think they should tbh. Imo both characters can be better utilized outside of cross guild



For Doflamingo I do think his goals of wanting to see the world government fall is a bigger goal for him than the one piece. With the main focus of cross guild now being buggy rekindling their forgotten desire for the treasure I don’t think Doflamingo will fully fit in line. I think him teaming up with the revolutionaries in some type of way to fight against the celestial dragons would be really fitting for him. Especially if tsuru finally worked her magic on doffy slightly cleansing his heart.
On top of that
  • 3 of the og warlords going after the one piece with crocodile, mihawk, and moria
  • 3 of the og warlords going after the celestial dragons as revenge. Those 3 also being rulers of kingdoms with Doflamingo, Hancock, and Kuma
  • 1 doing both aka Jinbe the goat




As for what weevil could do? Personally I think him leading/protecting the remnants of the whitebeard pirates would be really cool. Weevil doesn’t seem like a bad guy at all just confused and mislead. He genuinely seems to care about protecting whitebeard’s legacy with him protecting sphinx while Marco was away and him hating Blackbeard. Marco helping save him might help him realize that the wbp’s aren’t as bad as him mom has been letting on. With him potentially seeing them as siblings he has to protect.
He’s most likely going to get along well with luffy just like Yamato and katakuri the other emperor sons. Speaking of them katakuri is definitely going to do everything in his power to protect his family now that big mom is gone. Yamato will also probably end up leading the remaining beast pirates that ended up staying in wano.



Moria is 100% gonna join tho
Not only does he fit the theme of cross guild. Which is basically middle aged men having a mid life crisis trying to do things they always wanted to do when they were young but gave up on. On top of that perona. Moria himself has nowhere else to go while perona has ties to mihawk who is obviously a member of cross guild

Cross guild are pirates and their main goal is the one piece. Even ignoring that there original utopia plan is still something that goes against them becoming subordinates to the world government again

Moria doesn’t deserve shit. Doffy doesn’t seem to ever be relevant to the plot besides coming back later to drop off info about the treasure in the WG hands while on the other hand Weevil is the perfect fit imo to be the third YC in CG organization.

  1. Moria just like crocodile, buggy, and the rest of cross guild had aspiration for the one piece that he lost. Cross guild is the perfect group to rejuvenate his passion. And he already basically has an in with perona
  2. Whatever doffy does I do think it will be more related to the world government and the take down of the celestial dragons than the pirate and one piece stuff
  3. Weevil’s ties to the Whitebeard Pirates should be way more important to his character than going for the one piece. Marco is going to even help save him

Doffy collaborating with the Revos to bring down the WG is not a bad call, but I have a hard time imagining Doflamingo helping those very guys who dismantled his business/kingdom together with the Luffy/Law Alliance...
It's also hard to imagine Sabo, Koala & Co. trusting him.

Doffy is joining cg he has ties with croco
Moria is with perona who has ties with mihawk

Cope if they join cg they neg the rhp,bbp etc

No I think they absolutely should. I think most previous villains should join the cross guild as a way to keep them in the story and have them relevant. If mingo comes back to the story he has to be attached to something as he's be so far surpassed. Them freeing him and getting him to join to screw over Luffy that's almost pk is a great story line. Cross guild has the most potential of any crew right now but it's limited to who oda places in it. Cross guild can have anyone in it that has a reason or will to join and it doesn't need to be convoluted or completely change characters for them to join.

I think there’s more going for Doffy ending up in Crossguild, a team up with Croc had already been teased at Marineford. He also regains protections from being in another yonko organization at least this time no one is truly his boss, plus can get reconnected to underworld business. Doffy has shown to have knowledge about celestial dragon secrets but nothing gave the impression he would actually fight to take them down only the idea of him being unstoppable with the national treasure if he had possession of Law’s fruit, at least that’s all I could gather. As for Moriah I 100% believe he’s joining too, he could use the yonko protection and Perona is tied to Mihawk these days so why not rejoin former colleagues under new circumstances. I don’t have Weevil joining I think he’ll end up helping Marco in being a protector of Whitebeard’s home after Buckin explains the connection to Vegapunk and WB, Marco probably saves him they might forge a bond and this time Marco can play the role of adoptive father figure.

Doffy doenst have his crew or Kaido backing him up.The wg is trying to kill him,if he ever leaves impel down.He needs to get protection from a Yonko.Teaming up with his old pal Crocodile just makes sense.

Katakuri has conquerors,Zoro has it,Ben probably too and they all follow some Yonko.

I don’t think doffy has to be straight up a subordinate but maybe something similar to how he and kaido worked together. Or even similar to him being a warlord under the world government. Him working with dragons seems like a funny coincidence if it keeps going.

As for Doflamingo having a grudge against the revs I imagine he could let it go due to their similar goals if wanting to see the world nobles fall. Plus tsuru might have chilled him out a bit making him a slightly better person lol

Doffy isn't gonna work under Buggy. Neither would Hancock.

I’d like for the Warlords to be consolidated into one group just because they are some of the best characters, but Cross Guild itself was already a tenuous creation for the sake of keeping Buggy & Mihawk in the game.

The reasons for each individual joining can take a backseat to the joy of just having them all together for fun.
