I personally think it's just too late for that. They might get it to season 4, but then AI might already take over.
Personal preference ofc, but I follow One Piece AI channels on yt and these folks already do 6min trailer videos in 2-3weeks intervals that are already looking very promising, capture the spirit of ths series thanks to replicating all the crazy designs and sizes and they gradually get better.
You can only speculate how good will it be 2years from now and how fast and efficient.
If private persons really start to create full episodes or seasons with the help of it or perhaps a new found studio it won't look good for Netflix and OPLA.
I'm thinking about the cost and time management as RL concerns and really the quality of the work. One Piece is an overly fantastic world: AI can replicate that very well already and will only get better at it. Actors and CGI will likely face problems keeping up with that aspect in specific.
There tons of aspects honestly. A major one is also voices, the characters' signature laughs and stuff.
Perhaps I'm overestimating AI's future capacities, but I doubt I do.
