--It is more than confirmed now that Kaido was not awakened or at least never used awakening as he does not have the clouds surrounding him as other awakened zoan users have.

--Also if you think bulky mode is his awakening then its trash for a mythical zoan. (Anyways if you think he is awakened ignore this thread)

--Assuming he was not awakened what abilities would awakened Kaido have?

Imo --

1) Superior scales as durability is key point of Kaido




2) More elemental manipulations

Kaido already has shown ice manipulation in Games


So something like Ice breath --



3) Ability to lift multiple islands -- Kaido can already lift an island like onigashima so in awakening he should get bigger flame clouds and power lift multiple islands



What more can he possibly do?

If we use Luffy's awakening as a base then he would gain more overall strength like any other zoan, + apply his mythical zoan abilities on his hybrid form. A more elongated/slimmer hybrid mode to match a dragon more, flaming clouds covering his arms, perhaps coat his kanabo with flaming cloud properties, be able to unleash blast breath from his kanabo too

Kaido would make WG his own. There would be no limits. He could destroy any crew and take the strong members. He'd beat Im and become the God of OP World.

Actually, it's the opposite, Kaidou has awakened and raised awakening to a level known only to him, which is making the awakening clouds that surround their bodies have the ability to make an island levitate. LOL

Just to remind Admirals fans even if they by some miracle have awakened they are still weaker than Kaidou and this was established not by me but by the mangaka Eichiro Oda himself.


It's crazy that Kaido doesn't even need to wake up to be > Anyone in the verse.


An unawakened kaidou could levitate an island for hours and transport it completely passively, an awakened kaidou could probably hold infinity in the palm of his hand.:myman:

I mean Luffy could catch something like lightning. Kaidou since he was introduced has always shown manipulation of the weather, he could take it to a higher level and be able to catch lightning or even have TOON FORCE in this mode but in a more BADASS way, after all it is a mythical dragon that we are talking here.

Even without awakening he was already considered in essence by Zoro as a walking natural disaster, being able to generate tornadoes, lightning, spit fire etc...

Holy shit would be so broken a mythical dragon that represents strength in Japanese culture awake....

I think him having more control over elemental abilities would be cool.

I was a little disappointed that he didn't show ice in the manga, it would have been a cool contrast to Luffy's fire attacks.

Maybe weather manipulation too. Being able to infuse his club with elements
