General & Others What Ages in One Piece would you change?

There are quite a few Ages in One Piece that are Weird or feel like an After thought. Like Hannyabal's from Impel Downs who has apparently been working there since he was a kid. And Doc Q from the Blackbeard Pirates.

What ages stand out as weirdest and whose would you change?

My choice is strangely enough Whitebeard's I'd age him up 8-13 years. So he's just a little older than Roger, Garp, and Sengoku. It would also fit more with Both sides of his personality and visually he looked older than Garp and Sengoku during Marineford. It would also put a bit wider of a gap between him and Big Mom, who referred to him as an Old Man.

I was gonna make this same reply too. If Oda is setting up a future relationship with her and Luffy, it doesn’t make sense for Boa to be 30 when Luffy isn’t even 20 yet. That’s a decently sized gap.

People will say “Well, if Oda made her that old then that must mean nothing is gonna develop”, and maybe they’re right. But, she’s the only one who’s shown such strong feelings for Luffy in the entire series so far. It’s similar to how Pudding started to show genuine feelings toward Sanji near the end of WCI, except they got as far as almost getting married… sort of.

There’s several ways Oda could go about this, which are either just going with it and putting them together in the end anyway, using Jewelry Bonney’s DF to make Boa younger, or breaking them up.

It doesn’t help that Amazon Lily might be connected to the D. Clan in some way, given the theory that Rouge might’ve been a former empress and how far back their lineage seems to go.

I just hope Oda doesn’t make the end result weird if he does decide to make it official.
