I assume the statues carved into the red line are them. If you notice there are two staircase from the gondola to Marijois. On each side of each staircase there are 5 statues. 5 x 4 =20

the statues dwarf Shirahoshi (11 meters), so I’m assume they are atleast as big as Oars (67 meters)

I have 2 theories atm:
Either they are jobbers and imu only needed them for their army and supply lines, given the framing of 20 kings vs the ancient kingdom involves more than a singulare fight, its like the raid on onigashima with the fodder samurai but bigger


OR they were all strong and imu tricked them, like with a contract or a loophole, and thats why he is so strong and he tricked them with a contract sapping their powers, thats why the stuff he gives out now are also "contracts"

I had a similar theory to that.

But the fact that imu said he can only make 13 contracts put a hole in that, so unless we know more i dont think that will be the case, thats why i altered it to the current state as in imu just bamboozling the kings and getting their powers, not actually absorbing them

Good catch. I've been thinking Pizarro could use the statues against Mary Geoise since the Red Line is a group of connected islands, but having the statues be the First 20 makes it way more epic.

In a way, Pizarro, the "Corrupt King," would weaponize the former allies of the most corrupt king of them all.
