Powers & Abilities What can Luffy do with his Nika Nika Awakening?

#1
What do you think are the specifics of Luffy's Awakening/Gear 5? What can he do? What can't he do? What are the side effects, if any?

Imo:

A. What i think Luffy does currently:

- amplifying his own muscle mass and strength to unknown limits

- amplifying his limb size to unknown limits

- Increasing body flexibility however high he needs to

- give bouncy properties to objects he touch, including being bouncy towards non-solid elements

---

B. What i think Luffy can potentially do in the future about concept of freedom:

- amplifying his muscle mass, physical strength however high he want

- amplifying his haki size or power like CoA or CoC (haki-fruit awakening harmonization)

- amplifying his speed however fast he want (to the point that faster-than-light attacks are possible)

- his body being bouncy toward non-solid physical stuff like reflecting elemental attack and even reflecting damage while greatly amplified it (the best instantaneous Reject Dial)

- his attacks completely ignoring any defense including haki defense due to cartoon physics

---

C. What i think Luffy's limitations are (what Luffy can't do, or side effects)

- Luffy can't generate his own projectile attacks

- Maybe he can do it only temporarily? Or some kind of mental side effects where he will be depressed, sad, or emotionless once Gear 5 is over since it saps on his joy and motivation so much?

---

What do you think?

He seems to have a magnificent control over his body and his stats improved. I expect all of his stats to have improved compared to his Snakeman or even Boundman version 🤔

Alrite since 1045 Luffy's ability is getting out of hand

- becoming a giant
- not affected by being eaten, burned, or hit by Kaidou's kanabo
- running in the air creating fire

What do you think the limits are

Basically, it allows Luffy complete control of the way in which his body stretches whereas previously he needed to rely on his muscles, inhailing air, and physics kickback in order to stretch himself.

There has always been a limit to how far Luffy can stretch, and the limit of Luffy's body control, and how big he can make himself, just eyeballing the numbers, seems to be approximately as large as the length that Luffy could usually stretch. His Gigant mode, on the face of it, seems to essentially be Gear 3rd distributed evenly throughout his body. And because he's already been stretched to his maximum by becoming that gigantic, we see while he's become that huge, that he cant actually stretch any further, thus doesn't use any of his typical long-range rubbery attacks.

Next, it also obviously seems as if he can heal himself like is typical of an awakened Zoan. Several people with Oberservation Haki had pronounced Luffy dead, including Luffy, but he revived, obviously due to the fruit. This, in combo Luffy's ability to stretch at will (and thus stretch even in response to Haki attacks) makes blunt damage, (or rather any damage that isn't deliberately trying to bisect him) all completely negligible.

Finally, He can also give anything in his surroundings (things and people) a rubbery consistency. But much like he usually is in base form, he cant actually manipulate any of this rubberized objects without hands-on force as well.

The side effect seems to be a matter of extreme exhaustion, much like other awakenings.
