Official Viz usually provides excellent translations, but in the latest chapter, they made a mistranslation about Kaido's important line.

It should be translated like,
Kaido: The more precarious the situation is, the more you laugh.
"And" the more you laugh, you.... Luffy: ?


Kaido is implying if Luffy (or Will of Ds?) laughs more, "something" will happen. For example, "The more you laugh, the stronger Will of Ds will get". Oda is deliberately hiding what Kaido said here. This line is so important that JP fans already enjoy discussing it.

And something I wanted you to speculate on what KADO said to Luffy, everyone's opinion is important.

I think he is talking about the will of D

D's always follow their dreams with such great ferocity, even in the midst of great perils instead they laugh and keep up the grind.

That is why the D's always die with a smile, because in life they always gave their best shot at everything, they can die proud, even if they didn't achieve their dream (luffy going to die to Buggy's beheading him) Luffy still smiled because he doesn't have any regrets

I think that's basically what unites everyone with the D in their name. The will of D is an attitude of unrestrained love for their dreams which means they don't feel fear when pursuing it. Instead of reacting with fear, Luffy is taking on Kaido with a smile. Kaido has surely encountered many D bearers and he recognises that cheeky type of smile they all have

Yes, he was being quoted for FA, even without DF, and Carmel did not know that LINLIN had COC, it would be more exaggerated if she had demonstrated COC, the Navy (Government) would be angry and concerned just like Luffy demonstrated his COC in MF, and the admirals were concerned with eliminating him immediately and not allowing him to escape.

For ODA is hiding the speech of KAIDO, it must be something that contributes a lot to the history and mystery.
Until the end of WANO we will have the meaning of D.

Oh, very well explained, KAIDO has shown many smiles since the war in Wano started.
Seeing the picture of Roger and Garp vs Rocks, Kaido also smiles.
The curse that KAIDO carries is being the D who cannot die.:catcry:catded

Just now, I watched Ohara video talking about this. Ngl I got goosebumps while watching that. I don't think Kaido is a D but he might know something about it.

Luffy, Roger, Ace and other D smile when they were about to die. Same goes to other characters who help the world to its dawn. So, it might be related to the Will of D, the dawn of the world and Joyboy.

Yes, looking forward to the FLASH BACK of KAIDO, this will clearly solve some mystery of the plot, I believe that we will know the meaning of the D. until the end of WANO.

Oda said not long ago that all OP Fans must read Wano Arc, even if they have stopped reading for a while, because Wano Arc have Important Reveals that cannot be missed

So yeah, i'm sure we will learn more about:
Rocks Pirates - Will of D. - Haoshoku Haki - Black Swords - Wano Origin - Momo's Unique Powers - Road Poneglyphs ... etc
