Speculations What do you think makes more sense for Zoro's final fight?

What final fight set-up seems more likely?

With the revelations of Chapter 1094 many people have, justifiably might I add, woken up about the true power of the Gorosei. With the intro that Oda gave Saturn alone, it is by no means crazy for some people to assume that Nusjuro works far better as a viable final threat for Zoro in terms of endgame.

Now, personally speaking? I always thought the Gorosei were gonna be stupid busted, but even I was shocked by the level of portrayal gave Saturn in the latest chapter. I will not lie I was starting to think "man, will Oda make Nusjuro the final opponent for a WSS Zoro to give him a worthy enemy to defend the title?". Perhaps he would use his devil fruit more but be a worse swordsman? But the more that I think about it, the more I don't think it works.

Zoro would receive what is at this point 100% confirmed to be the Shodai when he defeats Nusjuro. His first Supreme Grade blade. From the FINAL opponent, Oda has in mind for Zoro? Oda won't give Zoro the strongest blade he ever had, which would NOT be a black blade with presumably zero opponents and time left for Zoro to blacken it. That does not make sense in terms of story structure.

What WOULD work, is Zoro blackening his blades against Mihawk in their final struggle via a mid-battle power-up so we see two blackblade wielders in action against each other. Zoro would then have three Supreme Grade class swords via Enma, Shodai and Wado since it's confirmed the blades get an upgrade and thus jump into that category. Before people ask, no this would not cause problems with Shodai being a Supreme Grade. Yoru was likely already the strongest blade before Mihawk blackened it too and did not get some special designation all on its own either.

I find this version of events the most likely, which also has some insane implications depending on how what Oda has Saturn do in the next chapter. Because it would put Mihawk, Zoro, and also by proxy Shanks a good step above what looks to be insanely powerful people in terms of the Gorosei.

But what do you think makes more sense? Zoro being WSS when facing Nusjuro or Zoro having Shodai when facing Mihawk?

Zoro would receive what is at this point 100% confirmed to be the Shodai when he defeats Nusjuro. His first Meito blade. From the FINAL opponent, Oda has in mind for Zoro? Oda won't give Zoro the strongest blade he ever had, which would NOT be a black blade with presumably zero opponents and time left for Zoro to blacken it. That does not make sense in terms of story structure.

Why will Zoro acquire the Shodai?

He did not acquire the Nidai, so what's the argument that he acquires the Shodai?

When Zoro defeated King he destroyed his Meito; the same might happen against Venus.

BTW, all Zoro's swords are Meito, what you mean is Saijo O Wazamono.

Swordsmanship includes Gentle Blade + Strong Blade
Strong Blade relies on "Strength"
Gentle Blade relies on "Speed"

Zoro's Three-Sword Style is his "Strongest" Style (Not including KOH & Asura)
Zoro's One-Sword Style is his "Fastest" Style
Zoro's Two-Sword Style is his "Balanced" Style (It's Stronger than One & Faster than Three, but Slower than One & Weaker than Three)

In World of One Piece, Oda created Land of Vikings (Elbaf), Land of Knights (Mary Geoise) & Land of Samurai (Wano)
All Three represent Most Powerful Nations when it comes to Swordsmanship or Weapon-Based Fighting Style in General

Elbaf have "Strongest Strong-Blade" Swordsmen (As Big Mom said, Taste Spear of Elbaf)
Wano have "Strongest Balanced" Swordsmen (As Scabbards Claim, Oden's Two-Sword Style is The Best, cuz it's Most Balanced)
Guess what Mary Geoise has? "Strongest Gentle-Blade" Swordsmen (Hakuba is literally an Ancient Knight, you will soon realize that)

Elbaf have Nine Chiefs (Hinted by having Nine Crests & also what seems to be Nine Mountains which is Reference to Nine Realms)
Wano have Nine Scabbards
Mary Geoise have Nine Holy Knights

If not for Time Travel & Kaidou/Orochi Intervention, who would be Strongest Three Samurai currently in Wano? Oden, Hyogoro & Kin'emon
Rightful Ruler of Wano + Strongest of Five Yakuza + Leader of Scabbards

Same thing for Mary Geoise, Strongest Three Knights are
Rightful Ruler of Mary Geoise + Strongest of Five Elder Stars + Leader of Holy Knights

Same thing for Elbaf, Strongest Three Giants are
Rightful Ruler of Elbaf + Strongest of certain Group of Five (Probably Princes such as Loki) + Leader of Nine Chiefs

However, just like Oden was Replaced by Orochi due to Interference of Wano's Main Villain (Kaidou)
Rightful Ruler of Mary Geoise (Shanks) was also Replaced by Imu due to Interference of WG's Main Villain
And Ruler of Elbaf was also Replaced by Someone due to Interference of Elbaf's Main Villain

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In other words:

Oden is Modern Story's Strongest "Balanced" Swordsman, Followed by Hyogoro & then Kin'emon (If He didn't Time Travel)
Shanks is Modern Story's Strongest "Gentle-Blade" Swordsman (Hence why He is So Fast), Followed by Ghandi & then Garling
Elbaf gonna have Such Three Characters as well for "Strong-Blade"

During Wano Arc, Zoro didn't Fight Oden or Hyogoro or Kin'emon
And He won't Fight Shanks or Ghandi or Garling
And He won't Fight Elbaf's Top Three Swordsmen

So anyone who is expecting Zoro to have a Serious Duel against Shanks or Ghandi or Garling or some Swordsman from Elbaf, you are gonna be Disappointed

Main Villain of Wano was "Marked" by Oden
Main Villain of Mary Geoise was "Marked" by Shanks
Main Villain of Elbaf was "Marked" by ???

Who was Marked by Shanks? It's none other than Man With Burn Scar
Those Burns were from Shanks Sword

Zoro repeated Oden's Feat against Kaidou
Zoro's Next Big Feat is him Unlocking Flaming Sword against Man With Burn Scar (Next Villain)
And then Fighting his No. 2 (Who is not Introduced yet, and He is aboard his Black Ship)

After that, Zoro will face Final Villain & repeat another Old Feat
Before facing Final Villain's No. 2 who is none other Mihawk

Mihawk was & will always be Zoro's Final Fight & He Perfected all of those Fighting-Styles
Hence the Christianity Theme, He represents Trinity of Swordsmanship (Best Strong-Blade, Best Gentle-Blade & Best Balanced-Style)
Only way for Zoro to Prove He is Stronger is He can match him with Two-Sword Style Only, just like Zombie Ryuma Fight

If EOS Zoro's Two-Sword Style = Mihawk, then Zoro's One-Sword Style is Automatically considered Fastest Blade & his Three-Sword Style is considered Strongest
