if you watch the very end, the anime pairs up the RHP and the BBP. Lucky Roo, Shanks’s #3 is paired up with Vasco Shot.

This would suggest that, not counting Kuzan, Vasco shot is the #3 of the BBP only after Shiryu and Teach.

Him being Sanji’s rival makes sense. They both use fire and Sanji is a cook whereas Shot can control alcohol.

Vasco throws flames from his mouth and has the alcohol fruit, a flammable liquid. I don't see any point in fighting a flame user like Sanji, who is fire resistant, while Vasco is not. If it is revealed in the future that Vasco is fire resistant, the fight makes even less sense.


The anime just has no clue as always.

I think I said something like I expect Jinbei to fight Vasco, Sanji to fight Laffitte, and Brook to fight Pizarro.

If I would switch a couple of those, then I'd switch Jinbei with Brook, so Jinbei can do Sea Vs. Land with Pizarro, and Brook can freeze Vasco's alcohol.

Those both still sound like good fights to me 👍

Jinbei would water-beam Pizarro like nobody has ever been water-beamed before

Brook would freeze Vasco's alcohol and be able to clean up any areas he sets on fire.

it goes from weakest to strongest. first yasopp's matchup. beckman's last. the one before beckman is lafitte. limejuice>roux
yasopp and roux are overrated, because they are familiar to us. we don't know much about some other members. doesn't mean they will be weaker.

Vasco? At least he’s competing with another sexual offender like Absalom.

Burgess? Sabo’s past victim.

Lafitte? Zero hype feats yet and its been 20 years.

At this point, the only good choice left is Kuzan himself, but he’s just too strong for Lanji to handle alone 1v1, and we all know Oda will have him defect from BB’s crew and betray them at the end anyway.
