Now that Ashura is back, it’s time to ask once again what it even is

According to Kaku, it’s an Illusion from Zoro’s spirit.

Interestingly enough, we have seen something similar sort of for the first time. Killer’s Sonic Scythe. Which was clearly an Illusion as well.

Now what is unexplained is the reason why the illusion can do physical damage. Killer’s Sonic Scythe illusion of course is most likely some kind of Sound attack and that’s how it does damage. Killer was even familiar with how Apoo’s sound attacks work as well.

Oda does in fact try to explain how illusions are doing physical damage in these case. So what’s up with Ashura? What’s the explanation for how Ashura does Physical damage?
