A lot of people assume that because Sanji didn't get a Major fight or have his best moments in his arc (WCI) he's not going to get much in Wano, when thats not even what it means for a character to have an arc.....
When a character gets an arc dedicated to their character in One Piece, Its not an arc for a character to have their best moments in the series, quite the opposite in fact.
Characters go through a series of trials both emotionally and physically, they hit multiple low points in the arc and get put in multiple compromising situations. It ultimately ends with the characters accepting help from their friends aka Monkey D Luffy. Characters do have small moments here and there in their character arc. But ultimately Its never anything like them winning some grand 1v1 fight.
The way a character is portrayed in a character arc is only Temporary and does not carry on to later arcs.....
Sanji in Baratie is not portrayed the same way in Arlong Park..... Nami in Arlong park is not portrayed the same in Alabasta..... Laws portrayal in Dressrosa is not the same portrayal in Wano. Sanji's End Game in Wano is not going to be the same End Game as Whole Cake Island.
Characters can go from being portrayed as vulnerable/weak in their own arcs to being portrayed like this in a following arc
Nami in Alabasta after being so hopeless in Arlong park and not getting any fight.
Sanji in Arlong Park after getting beaten up by almost everyone in Baratie do to circumstances.
Law had his character arc in dressrosa lost multiple times in the arc and was portrayed as someone who could not do things without Luffy, was basically honorary strawhat.
Now in Wano Oda is once again portraying Law as a rival to Luffy and Kidd.
But yea thats it, and by the way Wano is clearly Momonuske's character arc not Zoro's or Luffys or any strawhat.
