Speculations What really happened during the God Valley Incident?

#1

1. The Treasure of God Valley
The World Government stole the treasure of Hachinosu and used it as a prize for the native hunting competition.
What exactly was this treasure?

2. The Rocks Pirates’ Real Goal
Thanks to Ginny, the Rocks Pirates learned about the Celestial Dragons’ plans and decided to crash the party.

Were they just after the treasure?
Was that the perfect chance to go all in against the Government?
Maybe it was all part of a much bigger plan.

Stussy: "Today is the final fight, I assume!"
John: "That's the idea."
Gloriosa: "We'll settle it once and for all."

But not everyone was fully aligned.
Linlin: "Let's just steal what we're after and scram. All these dreamers with their heads in the clouds."

Also, Linlin and Kaido talk about something that, to me, clearly points to the Devil Fruits present on the island:
Linlin: "They’ll be mine!!"
Kaido: "But you can't do anything with them, Linlin!"

Kaido then adds:
Kaido: "I hear Roger’s on the move. He's the last man I’ll let..."
Another translation puts it like this:
"Seems like Roger’s on the move too. He’s the only one that..."

So what exactly were they fighting over?

3. Gol D. Roger’s Role
Roger went to God Valley for Xebec. That much seems clear.
But based on this line:
Scopper Gaban: "No special privileges for the captain here, Roger!"
It sounds like even his crew had their own personal reasons for showing up.

Could it be that Roger learned something about the Ancient Weapons at God Valley?
Shiki: "You know the location of the weapon that can destroy the world!"

Roger says he’d been waiting a year to meet Xebec again.
That lines up with when he reached Lodestar, exactly one year before God Valley.

4. Monkey D. Garp
Garp arrived at God Valley to fight Roger.
But instead, he ended up teaming up with him to stop Xebec.

I think Xebec managed to get what he wanted and became such a serious threat that Garp had no choice but to fight alongside Roger.

But ultimately, I believe Xebec failed to finish what he started. Maybe he rushed things. Maybe the timing wasn’t right.
It feels similar to what happened with Roger at Laugh Tale.
He got so close, but the world wasn’t ready yet.

God Valley was Xebec’s Laugh Tale.
The moment he had no choice but to step back and let the will live on through others.

When and how do you think Oda will finally reveal everything about the God Valley Incident?

It probably went down like a battle royal.

The treasure were the 5 propitious beasts

Big Mom got the Azure Dragon for Kaido because she wanted him to join her crew.
Whitebeard got the Phoenix
Kuma got Pixiu bear-like zoan half dragon/bear, but Oda think it was too similar to Kirin so he changed it to Paw Paw No Mi.
The Government took one back from Big Mom, the Kirin DF which Killingham ate it.
A turtle zoan, maybe Pekom ate it.
and one unknown treasure.

What if one of the treasure is one of the 12 supreme grade. Which was handed to shanks later?

Yea not all treasures are DF, a supreme grade blade is possible.

The question is why didn't rocks eat the DF if a DF was the treasure of bee hive?

What if it was a device with mechanism of temporarily creating mother flame or something needed to use pluton?
Not sure what was it and how did Xebec or the hive got that treasure. Could it be Davy Jones DF lol. He could give it to his sword if he doesn't want to eat it. Or maybe not a DF at all.

A one time use mother flame seems like a good guess, a weaker version of Vegapunk's mother flame, it destroyed the island but didn't vaporize and create a hole.

Maybe it had god tier DF or yami/Nika DF
Why wouldn’t he have eaten it?
The only explanation I can think of is that it was meant for his son. But Teach was already two years old during God Valley.

You could argue that Xebec couldn’t use the Yami Yami like Teach because he didn’t have the same kind of body.
But honestly, that all sounds way too forced and weird.

I really don’t think the treasure of Hachinosu was a Devil Fruit. And I doubt it was something personal that belonged to Xebec either.

I thought it might've been one of the four Road Poneglyphs, the one that ends up in Big Mom’s territory later on.
But even that feels odd as something Celestial Dragons would put up as a prize in their competition.

What’s the point of collecting Devil Fruits if you're not gonna eat them?

I am actually starting to think it was a Clusterfuck of a Davy Back fight.
That may be the answer to all the weird shit of why Roger and Garp even fought together in the first place or the entire stuff with protecting and freeing slaves if they were part of the game and a wager.

There is probably something BIG to the Davy Back fight we dont know yet. Something supernatural perhaps relating to the void century. Hypothetical example, some weird rule or ritual.

I honestly think the climax of the god valley incident is where we’ll see Imu’s face reveal.

Now that we know Holy Knights/Gorosei can summon each other and Imu imo it’s inevitable.
I actually think we’ll see Imu after the clash with Luffy in Elbaph.
Maybe in a chapter where the remaining Holy Knights regroup at Mary Geoise due to the emergency, ending with Imu’s full reveal.

At this point, Imu has taken center stage in the story. Feels like it’s finally time.
