Theory What Teach will take from Law

#1
With Law vs Blackbeard ongoing, I think most people know that Law will inevitably lose in order to hype up Teach as the next villain. However, I don't think people realize how dire the situation is for Law.

Luffy just defeated Kaido, a character who was hyped to be the strongest pirate in one piece, however true or untrue that might be. In order for the story to progress, we need to see a rise in stakes. For Teach to be the next villain, he needs to surpass Kaido.

At the moment, Teach is having difficulty taking Law out. Therefore, Teach needs a power up. I'm sure you all know where I am going with this. I think we are reaching the point in the story where Law's plot armor expires. imo, Teach will not merely defeat Law and take his DF, he will gain ope ope no mi immortality and steal Law's DF in the process.

Currently, Saturn of the gorosei is headed to egghead island with an army on his side. Egghead island is likely going to segue into the blackbeard arc(s). In the cover story, we see silhouettes of the gorosei that make it appear as if they haven't aged in decades. Their silhouettes in the ohara flashback give this same impression. What if the gorosei, Saturn included, have ope ope no mi immortality. And the reason that Saturn is in this arc is to specifically introduce and hype up this ability, thereby setting up Teach as the next big villain when he takes immortality from Law.

We know Law cares for his crew, teach will likely use this against him. He will capture bepo and the others and use them to force Law to give him immortality. Then once Law's dead, Teach will take his DF.

A lot of people think Teach will get a zoan, but tbh that is pointless. Zoans are powerful DFs, but they are only strong if you have the haki to back them up. Like look at Luffy, he has the strongest zoan in one piece but he would be nowhere if he didn't have haki. Paramecia, which grant specific powers, are more useful to teach, specifically the ope ope no mi.

We know that the yami yami no mi is a logia, yet teach cannot become intangible. Why is this? every logia can become intangible, why not the yami yami no mi? Well you see, there is one condition where a logia cannot become intangible, that is when they are in contact with their weakness. Crocodile cannot become intangible when he is wet. Enel cannot become intangible to Luffy. A darkness man cannot become intangible when he is surrounded by light. That is why Teach needed to cover WB in a cloak before he took his DF. He needs darkness to be at full power.

Back to the ope ope no mi. We know this DF can manipulate the surroundings. We know that it can even cancel out the noise within a room. What if one of the powers of the ope ope no mi is the ability to cancel out all light in a room? Basically Law's silent ability, but with light instead of noise. If Teach could do such a thing, then he would be able to fully take advantage of his darkness abilities.

What's more, we know Teach's signature weapon is are a set of artificial claws. This weapon would work perfectly with the ope ope no mi. Imagine if Teach could steal awakenings. He'd be able to coat his claws with Kroom and then use Shock wille + gura gura no mi inside a person's body. It would be insane.
