In chapter 1131 Loki refuses to tell Luffy, whether truthfully or just lying, since he didn't seem to know Shanks came there for a bit, why Shanks came to Elbaf, and in chapter 1132 Luffy is asked why he was with the wolves and we see him remember Loki asking him to keep their deal a secret,

What's their deal?,

he is going to get the key from the village and free loki. the deal is probably the one thing they were already talking about and loki was trying to form a deal over, not anything new or unspoken.

this reminds me of "what was zoro's demand from vegapunk" when the demand was obvious in that chapter and the one before it. the entire crew was begging vegapunk to take them to shore. lilith said she was going to sink them and rob them instead. zoro says "you're going to listen to our requests" or whatever the line was. then lilith gets a phone call from shaka like "zoro and robin can literally kill you from where theyre standing. listen to them and take them to shore". and then its resolved. but somehow people think there's another, secret request that never got resolved.

it's the same thing here, I think. it's very obvious what the deal is. the deal is what they already talked about. loki is locked up, there's a key in the village, if luffy gets the key for loki he will owe luffy a favor

I don't see Luffy asking for him to destroy a crew for Luffy, so it's probably something non serious - maybe show me your eyes, have a party with us, don't insult Shanks anymore etc

Loki said that he won't answer Luffy's questions about Shanks for free. So I assumed the deal is about Luffy bringing the key to free Loki and Loki telling Luffy more about Shanks' doings...tho Loki may be bluffing ofc.

Yeah, I think Loki just understood that Luffy is emotionally attached to Shanks and decided to use it for his own benefit.
