The pills weren't particularly exciting either. Your national treasure is.... pills that make you stronger temporarily at the cost of your lifespan, wow amazing

Compared to Alabasta's "Sacred Water" that kills you after 5 minutes. Plus the Pills might give us hints to a connection between the Fishmen and Minks. with the ancient Fishmen trying to copy the Minks Sulong Transformation.

Running away from that blob monster in punk hazard, I watched the anime and there was episode after episode of just running away from poisonous gas only for it to be a gag at the end given Kinemon was hit by it and snapped out of his cacoon with 0 consequences
