Till this day, shonen jump still haven't been able to find a mangaka able to create a story as lucrative and popular as the big three mangakas did.

Boruto still runs till this day due to no one being able to take naruto's place, bleach will probably get another manga arc + season two anime of it's final arc(and that's after 10 years of shonen jump actively undermining the show, to the point where they even tried to replace bleach's big three spot with Toriko lol) so It's only right that the most famous and lucrative manga of ALL time will also get a sequel after it's official end.

Just lol If you think shonen jump gonna allow oda to give this story an "once and for ALL) ending hahaha, prepare for another two decades of two piece, buffy and New generation of strawhats.

I wouldn't put it past SJ to pressure oda into making Luffy lose or at least just get a temporary victory after main séries ending in order to ignite a sequel.

Shonen jump ain't gonna stop biting this bone anytime soon.

Most likely, I expect in time a sequel with Buffy, who will destroy the already terrible lore created in OP with Luffy as the second come of Joy Boy. The kid will be even more special even if that destroys Luffy role. Something like what the last trilogy did with Star wars and its lore, in particular with Anakin role.

I would rather read prequels and spin-offs about characters that didn't get enough screentime in the main story.

I'd love to see the Void century rise and fall, more Roger's story, and maybe some spin-offs for popular characters, like Katakuri or Marco.

The kids BS I can live without.

If Imu and Joyboy's story in the void century ends up being good, I think a series about the void century would be well-recieved in that case.

Also God Valley incident/Rocks spin off. Other than that no need for sequels.

I think it's gonna be about new generation rulers trying to preserve the Joy Boy legacy and worship. :brootea:

"Buffy" lmfaooo.

There are so many interesting prequels/spin-offs One Piece could have. The Rox era, Admiral Coby's adventures, Sabo's adventures, Shanks' past, Dragon forming the Revs, the Roger Pirates' early adventures etc...

Hell even if the SHs do have kids in a spin-off, just keep the SHs as the main characters instead of forcing some shitty new generation on us. All the best Boruto moments are the ones with Naruto and Sasuke smh.

Same here. Would be interesting to read Garp story, Dragon, Rocks, and also some of the admirals
