I figured it would be fun to speculate what Vegapunk will look like before we get the raw scans for Chapter 1066, since we won’t be able to speculate about it ever again once we see for ourselves. It’s now or never!
Here’s what we have so far! Not much, huh…?
Is he crying?
Assuming that IS Vegapunk, the silhouette in Chapter 684 makes him appear to have a long head. Perhaps he‘s like Fukurokuju? It could also be a hat, tall hairstyle or temporary design. I don’t believe the anime showed this scene in this perspective, but that was probably done intentionally.
There have been many designs that fans have come up with over the years, depicting him as a mad scientist or even a robotic one. You can find many of these on Google or whatever you use. Some of the designs are pretty cool!
Going by the calm nature of Egghead Island itself and his words in the fool summary by @Lance_Dragonite, I think I can say that he‘s a good person.
He seems to be good friends with Dragon so it’s also safe to assume he worked with him and was probably part of the Revolutionary Army since he also knows Kuma. He’s also fairly old, having been a scientist for many years and said to be very intelligent.
Combining this information we have, I came up with a design that I thought would fit him. My first art piece on this forum!! “What?! You can draw?!” Yeah, I guess.

I probably put way too much effort into a drawing that will probably be debunked in a few hours or a day, but I wanted to try my hand at it too since Vegapunk is a character I’ve been looking forward to for a long time! I had fun.
What do you guys think Vegapunk will look like? Albert Einstein? Doc Brown? Dr. Nefario? Dr. Willy??
